Support for developers

We help developers to deliver high quality technology across health and care services in Scotland.

The National Digital Platform (NDP) is an open, standards-based platform, that supports technology for health and care services. The Scottish Government commissioned NHS Education for Scotland (NES) to develop these services. We currently support a wide range of digital products within NHS Scotland.

Developers can work with these delivering solutions across health and social care services to bring new and existing digital components onto their platforms.

Our mission

We provide developers access to services and components that will make users’ experience much easier. This technology will improve consistency of access to core digital tools and to data in the health and care systems in Scotland.
